2.1 Authentication Data

  • OCID: Your Open Campus ID identifier
  • Wallet Address: Your Ethereum wallet address associated with OCID

2.2 CV Content

Information you provide when creating your CV:

  • Personal information (name, contact details)
  • Education history (institutions, degrees, dates)
  • Work experience (employers, roles, responsibilities)
  • Skills and competencies
  • Certifications and achievements
  • Language proficiency levels

2.3 Service Data

  • AI enhancement preferences and settings
  • Template selections
  • Verifiable Credential issuance records
  • CV export history

2.4 Technical Data

  • Browser type and version
  • Device information
  • IP address (anonymized)
  • Usage patterns and analytics (via Google Analytics)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the CV Generator service
  • Store and retrieve your CV data
  • Generate AI-powered content suggestions
  • Issue Verifiable Credentials for your CV entries
  • Improve our service through analytics
  • Communicate with you about service updates

4. Data Storage and Security

Your CV data is stored securely using Supabase, a PostgreSQL-based cloud database service. We implement:

  • Row-level security policies
  • Encrypted connections (TLS/SSL)
  • Access controls based on OCID authentication
  • Regular security audits

5. Verifiable Credentials and Blockchain

When you request Verifiable Credentials for your CV entries:

  • Credentials are issued using Open Campus infrastructure
  • Your wallet address is associated with issued credentials
  • Credential metadata is stored on blockchain (permanent record)
  • You control access to your credentials via your OCID wallet

Note: Blockchain records are immutable and cannot be deleted once created.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Database and authentication
  • Open Campus: OCID authentication and VC issuance
  • Google Analytics: Usage analytics (anonymized)
  • Vercel: Hosting and deployment

7. Data Retention

We retain your CV data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your data at any time, except for:

  • Verifiable Credentials already issued (blockchain records)
  • Data required for legal compliance

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (where applicable)
  • Export your CV data
  • Opt out of analytics tracking

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and optional analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand usage patterns. You can disable analytics tracking through your browser settings.

10. Children's Privacy

CV Generator is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
